crappy peice of tech review

The Technika 4GB MP3 player is a cheap low end device that delivers more than one might expect from a £15-£20 piece of electrical piece of plastic. It dose what it says on the tin with easy usb connectivity for synchronization and it plays back mp3 files just fine with an FM radio tuner built in as a small extra.

Although the controls are badly designed with simplicity in mind but I feel that they could be improved a lot by adding an extra button. The buttons that are there aren't very well placed for example the forward and back buttons aren't in the same way as the screen so it is hard to tell what one dose what and I often get it wrong on first attempt of scrolling through my music collection.
but with the horrible button placement aside it is overall an OK device witch I expected a lot less from to be honest and on top of that it also survived a trip into my washing machine as well as my tumble dryer while only sacrificing the bottom half of the screen.

The Next Step In Handheld Gaming

Now that I'm back I shall resume to normal blogging in 3.. 2.. 1.

Anyway... It used to be that if you wanted to play game's on the go you had two choices Sony's psp or Nintendos DS, the DS offering dual screen one of witch being a touch screen (this was before touch screens were cool) and the psp offering more multimedia features such as video's and music play back.
But now that you can do all this on you re phone (notice how I said phone and not iPhone) as well as having some great games on you're phone (again phone not iPhone) carrying these bulky portable game systems around seems completely unnecessary making the products them selves almost well... obsolete.
Well it seems the manufactures saw this coming and they have acted fast both Sony and Nintendo are coming out with some fantastic products that (hopefully) wont disappoint, Nintendo with there 3DS a glassless take on 3D gaming and Sony with there psp phone witch is... you guessed it a phone with a psp attached.

Nintendo's 3DS Due for release on 26/2/11 in japan for 25,000 yen no Priceng or release date is been out for the rest of the world but it looks like march 2011 is a likely realise date

While there are several enhancements that the Nintendo 3DS brings to the current Nintendo DS form factor, the official "hook" with the 3DS will be its ability to display stereoscopic 3D effects – similar to theatrical movies such as Avatar and How to Train Your Dragon -- on the screen but without the need for special glasses. It will be the top screen only with this effect because fingerprints etc will disrupt the 3D effect on the touch screen.Other new features include improved processing power, two camera lenses on the outside of the system (for 3D photos), an analog controller called the "Slide Pad," motion-sensing accelerometer and gyroscope, an infrared port, a "home" button that enables users to jump between tasks in-game, and a telescoping stylus. The companies and games that will be realised are:

Activision Publishing, Inc. DJ Hero 3D
AQ INTERACTIVE cubic ninja
ATLUS Etrian Odyssey Shin Megami Tensei Shin Megami Tensei: Persona Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor

my introduction to animation

Back in December 2007 I was half way through my 5th year at high school and I wasn't doing very well. It wasn't that I'm not particularly bright but rather I got very lazy with out noticing somehow my standards started to slip. I wouldn't be doing my home work and did very little in class. It was at this point my guidance teacher decide to sort of kick me out of school. When I say sort of what i mean is I was never a trouble in class I kept myself to myself and was told that I was a pleasant pupil to have in class although my standards were slipping so my guidance teacher basically said to me "I think higher education such as collage would be best for you (but if you disagree though shit)". They went her exact words but you get the just of it. So that weekend I attended an open day at a local collage having no idea what sort of course I wanted to do and I my attention was dragged towards this one course called I.M.A.G.E(Introduction to Media, Animation and Graphic effects). So I was getting informed about this course by this nice camp guy who then for some reason had to leave and left the main tutor for this course who seemed much more strict and basically interviewed me right there on the spot, I had no idea what was going on. Anyway I did terrible in the interview but for some unknowing reason (probably out of pity) he gave me a place on the course where I learnt all about animation. I was placed amounts other young people who could actually draw very well, I however could not draw to safe myself so I stuck to animation  stick men fighting. Looking back on the final piece of animation I did for that course It was terrible but apparently had everything need to pass the course.
I rambled on alot more than i expected to there sorry if I,ve board any of you :P

Hello and welcome to my blog. I've been wanting to start blogging for awhile now and have finally decided to start. One thing I probably should have decided before I started is what exactly it is that I will be blogging about... well my interests include animation, technology games and general cool creative arty stuff so yeah I guess you can expect that sort of stuff from me (I'm not that good with words as probably have guessed). Any way enjoy my blog.
